Have you considered Shawhan as a derivative? My Beaty clan intermarried with Shawhan's in MD/VA/PA/Ky/OH.... The Shawhan surname also has been spelled as Shehan, Sheehan, Shewen, Shean, etc. Just a thought... good luck.
