I greatly appreciate all of the information in the Shride Forum about the family of Jacob Schreid and Catharine Gutterer/Guterohl/Guttulin -- Jacob Shride born 1796 who married (1) Hannah Bowman, (2) Elizabeth McWilliams, and Henry Shride, who married Polly Shride.
Catharine Shride, my ancestor, was born on July 18, 1821 and died Sept. 6, 1888 per her gravestone in the cemetery next to St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church in Steelstown, North Annville Township, Lebanon Co., PA. She married Thomas A. Miller, 1817-1899. Thomas was from East Hanover Township, Lebanon Co., PA. Their children were:
Thomas J. Miller, born 1840; John Adam Miller, born 1842;William H. Miller, born 1844; Louisa Miller, born 1849; Rosa Miller, born about 1851; Catharine Miller, born 1854; Susan Miller, born about 1857; and Rebecca Miller,1861-1863. Does Catharine (Shride) Miller fit into one of your families?
