Giles Simpkins b 1847 Box, Wilts. last found on the 1861 census for Melcombe Regis,Weymouth, Dorset. age 14. Living with his father who worked on the Great Western railway as an Engine driver. Between then and the 1881 census he has dissapeared. Both parents are dead by 1871. I would be forever in your debt if by any chance you have come across his, marriage, death, or even a ships list if he emigrated.
