My line is of Elizabeth Jane Simkins and Harvey Bricker. I don't have any information past Ellis and Ann but do have some on their children and grandchildren. I also have some information on Ann's brother William Campbell and am willing to share whatever I have. There is a very interesting poem by William, describing his childhood home, in the book "Slate Lick: An Account of a Reunion of Present and Former Residents held at Slate Lick PA., 1887. The connection you make to a West Simkins seems to have merit. I would be interested in any additional information you have. The only Simkins I can locate at the time Ellis was in Fayette County was an Amous Simkins.
