Do you know where Ellis/Allen lived at a child/young man?

I know that West Simkins lived in Columbiana County, OH as a very young man and died there. This is based on the will of his father, Daniel, who died in 1848. In the will West is referred to as not of age. I have a very faint copy of the will from Col. Co. as well as the notes I made after finding the will at the FHL in Salt Lake City. There were other brothers mentioned; Joel, Jonathan, Allen.

In a bio of Joel from Pottawatomie Co., KS, it states that Daniel Simkins was his father. That Daniel was a widower with children when he married a woman named Jane West in PA. That about 1810 or 1811 when they moved to OH. Based on census records it would appear that Daniel was probably born about 1775-1785.

On the 1850 census of Col. Co. OH, there is a Nathan Simkins, my gggf, about 28, his wife, Amy, and several children. In addition, there is a man named Ellis, age 19 I think. Doing this from memory. There is no reference to Ellis in later census records.

For now, that's about all I can remember. That's for responding.
