Our Simpkins family has hit a brick wall with finding the family of our
ancestor, Robert Simpkins b: poss.1785 in New York or Virginia and d: bet.
1850-1860 Montgomery, Morgan, Bath County, Kentucky. So, we have decided to
try and connect our family thru DNA. We believe Robert is possibly related
to the Simpkins/Simkins Family in Montgomery, and Pulaski Co,Virginia ca:
1770's-1800's, or possibly Dutchess County New York Simpkins 1700's. We have
completed a Y-DNA 46 marker If you are researching your Simpkins family line
and have considered DNA testing. I would be happy to hear from you.
