5 Harry Belmont Williams SR. b: 31 MAY 1894 d: WFT Est. 1923-1985

I recently learned thru Y-DNA frm FamilytreeDNA that I have a match with a Simpkins in Somerset, MD.

I suspect but can't document a connection with Capt Nicholas Simpkins of Oyster Bay, Long Island. as well as Nathaniel Simpkins. Possibly the Belmont middle name is in honor of a Lord Bellomont who helped the Oyster Bay settlements.
How about you?
