I have traced my line back to William Simpkins, Wake Co, NC (born approx 1763). His son, Benjamin Franklin Simpkins (b1788) moved to Jackson Co GA in the 1830s. I'm stuck trying to identify William's father. I have been unable to tie into the Nicholas Simpkins line and I believe my branch may have been connected to either Ralph or or Edward who arrived in VA in 1636.
