We're still not clicking. My Henry was 55 years old, his oldest child Crockett was 22 at the time of the 1850 Floyd County Census. Robert Jr. would only have been 50 or 60 at the most at this time. I think that Henry must have been the s/o the first Robert who was born abt 1750, s/o the first James. There is no Henry listed, but there is a Wm. with no date of birth. Could there have been a Wm. Henry? I know that Robert had a brother names James. I've always understood that Robert and James arrived in the colonies at the same time. Did the first James have a brother Robert? Can there have been a conflict somewhere so that Crockett & Henry ended up in the wrong line?
