I'm not sure that I made myself clear in my last posting. According to the census, Henry was 35 and Crockett was 22 (or older according to family records). This seems a little far fetched. We have a framed memorial which shows Crockett b August 4, 1825 d September 22, 1903. Still his parents were a Henry SIMPKINS and an Elizabeth DUNCAN. Our records also show that he m 1-31-1851 Julia Ann TRAIL 1818-1918, d/o Sarah MOORE and Marvin TRAIL (instead of Marvil/Marville TRAIL as census records show.)
