I am descended from the Racines and I'm desperately searching for Metis (French - Canadian/Native American) ancestry in the following names: Albert, Autin, Beaupre, Bernier, Berube, Bonhomme, Caron, Chabot, Cote, Cloutier, Dancosse, Desjardins, Dessaint, Dionne, Fontaine, Fortier, Gagne, Gagnon, Hudon/Beaulieu, Huot, Jalbert, Jean, Lafontaine, Langlais, Langlois, Lavoie, Lebel, Levasseur, Leveille, Levesque, Lizotte/Laviolette, Marchand, Michaud, Miville/Deschenes, Morin, Nadeau, Nolin, Ouellette, Paradis, Pelletier/Antaya, Petit, Plourde, RACINE, Roy, Sirois, St. Pierre, Thibault, Vallee.
