I think I am researching the same family as you and Jody are, but my husband's family is from the Maryland branch, not Ohio. He is descended from Mary Elizabeth Slingluff, born 1/27/1833 in Maryland, who married Jesse Weaver in Carroll County, Maryland in 1854. I have her as the daughter of Isaac Slingluff (born 1807, died 1852 in Frederick County, Maryland) and Julia Anna Englar (born 1809, died 1848, daughter of Philip Englar and Mary Stoner). I also have three siblings for Mary Elizabeth -- Jesse, Louis Philip, and Francis H. Slingluff). Isaac is supposed to have been the son of Jesse Slingluff and Elizabeth Deardorff. That's as far as I have it. I have no siblings for any of the parents or grandparents, but this seems to fit with the names you have. I think my father-in-law has a photo of Mary Elizabeth's brother Louis Philip.
