Frank Mitchell has been posting info.on your line to me, and I did go to his website to see your line, mine is on there too.
There were several Gibson SLOAN'S, one born. late 1700's, early 1800's, married Ann Wells, and then Rachel Bryan, will have to go lookup who his father was. I think it was John, but don't have a mother's name. The other was my Great Great Great grandfather Gibson SLOAN, b. abt. 1810, whose father was William sloan, other siblings, Civil, and James?, It on the SLOAN WEB. along with my notes, be sure to look for it. Where did you get the source for John SLOAN and Rachel ALDERMAN?
