Can anyone tell me something about R.L. Smotherman who was enumerated in the 1900 Census of Shannon County, Missouri? He had living with him two teenage boys. One was Fred Helm and the other was John Wallace. Both were enumerated as cousins. Nearby was an A. Smotherman who could have been R.L.'s father or grandfather. R.L. was born in June 1872 in Ky. while A. Smotherman was born in July of 1822 in Tennessee.
