dear bill,
i am just getting started on tracing my father's side of the family. i do know that his mother, rhoda music, was 1/2 cherokee and was from georgia--strong possibility she was from a reservation or lived around the okeefenokee area. i have a cousin in mayo, fl, that tracked me down recently and i'll contact her for more information about the family. when i get more info, i'll pass it on to you. by the by, my dad, willie snipes, did mention that he had some relatives in the opalika, alabama, area.
