Snipes, Miss Lizzie E.

Crisp - Our community was greatly shocked by the sad, sad news of the death of Miss Lizzie E. Snipes, who died last Saturday night about 12 o"clock. She was the only daughter of Mr. Atlas Snipes, aged 19 years, was a true and noble daughter, and a most beloved sister. She leaves an aged father, four brothers, and many, many friends who mourn her loss. She goes to join her dear mother, who has only been waiting for her about seven months---etc.
excerpts- Methodist since age 12 - funeral svcs. Pleasant Hill on Mon. morning by Rev. Robert Hudgens, of Leeds and interred in Pleasant Hill Cem.
