Hi Helen,
I aam researching my mother's side of the family- the Seay family. The information I have on Clara Elizabeth is as following...
She was born in South Carolina and is buried in Bethal Primitive Baptist Church Cemt in Brooks County, Ga. Her nickname was Jimmy- to some Jim.
Her parents werr Mitchell ( Mikael) Snipes b. 1827 d. 1878
Born in S. C
Mother- Mary Clara Seay- b. 12-22-1841 in S. C. d. 2-10-1909
Grandparents on Seay side- John and Liddy Seay. This is as far as I have gone on the Seay side of the family so far.
