I thought this was the obituary of Charles' father. If so, Charles' parents would be Charles Lester and Doris Snipes. Were there two Charles B Snipes?

Charles Lester Snipes, 86, of Olive Branch, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis.
He was born Oct. 2, 1917, in New Albany to Earl Thomas Snipes and Effie Bennett Snipes. He was a retired employee of the Proctor and Gamble Buckeye Plant and a member of Cedar View Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at United Funeral Service chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Bob Dottley officiating. Burial will be in Vista Memorial Park in New Albany.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Linker of Bartlett, Tenn.; two sons, Charles B. Snipes of Memphis and David L. Snipes of Bartlett, Tenn.; a stepson, Larry Matthews of Olive Branch; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Snipes; and his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
