My research is limitted as well, but my father and my aunt (now deceased) have quite a bit of information gathered, but I don't know how much without digging out the "booklet" they put together.
My grandfather was Henry Adolph Bernard Soderberg, born 2 May 1894.
His parents (my g grandparents) were Knut Adolph Henry Soderberg (1866 Sweden - 1924 MA) and Maria Hageltorn (on another document it's Maria Johnson- one of these days I'll find out from my Dad which it is). Knut and Maria had three other children - Vendla Marie, Albert A. G. and Anna Charlotte. As far as I know most were in the Boston area for quite some time. My father's sister's name was Ruth- but she died in 1918 as an infant.
I don't know if there's a connection, but there are a lot of similar names.
