Bertha Baker, oldest daughter of Solomon L. and Rob Thomas Souther was born in Kentucky, July 29th 1887. At the age of 8 she suffered a broken hip and came to Illinois to make her home with her Uncle Milburn "Bud" Souther and her Aunt Ellen Souther. ....... This is the first of my Grandmothers obituary. Are we talking about the same lady here?
