My greatgrandfather was David Seward (born in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucy on April 9,1830)I believe he was married twice.First to a Cecilia (possibly an Indian)He is listed in the 1870 census in Escambia County, Florida.(Married to my great grandmother Elizabeth Fountain of Newton County Ms.)They had three children(Florence,Willie(my grandfather)and Sinderella.
In 1900 I have found them on the census in Mobile County,Al. GGrandfather David is listed as a dentist. Family members have told me that at one time he delivered mail to Dauphin Island, Al. by boat.
The family settled in Coden, Al. were most of my Father's (Edward)family still lives.
If anyone can help to connect us to the SEWARD or SOWARD family please help? Thanks
