Hi!

I teach a first/second grade multiage class at Port Royal Elementary School located in Beaufort County, SC. We are one of the nine international schools in the country. The students are currently working on a planner entitled "Our Family" and have visited this site several times. One of my students, Brice, was especially interested seeing the various spellings for the surname Spade. Could someone send us a brief history on the name Spade? I believe that Brice's parents were originally from Ohio or WV. We look forward to your helping us make a school-wide display.
