I am trying to find out if there are any photos of the servicemen who were a part of the Spanish-American War. My ggrandfather was in Company I, 1st California Volunteer Infantry as a cook. He died in Los Angeles at the LA County Hospital on 28 Jan 1929. He is buried in the National Cemetery on Sepulveda. I have already written to and received a copy of his military records from the National Archives, but there was no photographs or anything like that in there, only his muster rolls and a death certificate, along with some other papers. Any idea on how I can find out if there were any photos of the soldiers taken and where I might be able to find them? ANY help is greatly appreciated.
