I'm looking for info on Company M 3rd Kentucky Infantry,
My great grandfather Lewis W. Ferguson was a private in 1898, his division was to serve in cuba, but not sure if they were ever deployed there or not.
here what I know so far....
Regiment- 3rd ky inf. vol. batallion inf. E4 us Cav
Mustered june 21, 1898 Camp Thomas
Enlistment location- Paintsville, ky
Discharged in- Savannah Georgia feb 28,1889
@ Camp Conrad Ga.
