Hi Linda!

I'm sorry I missed this message somehow. Yes I would love to know what ever you can tell me on the Spohn side as well. So many questions. Infact, I found a real curious fact out the other day. Not sure if it pertains to my family or whose. But in the 1900 Alaska census, I found in the city of Skagway, the following information.

On Boadway Street there was a Jos. Spohn. Located there in NOV 1897 from Indian Territory. AGE 33, BORN SEP. 1868 IN OHIO. His mother and father were also born in Ohio. His former occupation... COWBOY!!Present occupation, TEAMSTER

On this same street was a man named ??NGS P. WARNER. Located there in FEB 1899 from POTLAND OREGON. AGE 40, BORN APRIL 1860 MICHIGAN. He was married, his MOTHER was born in MICH., his FATHER was born in OHIO. His occupation prior and present, Bookeeper.

The reason I find this odd? My grandfather, Floyd Spohn parents were Thomas J. Spohn, and Barbara Warner. Wonder if there is a connection? Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Debbie
