NC records indicate that Peter STALKUP m. 12 Dec 1785 in Orange Co. NC to Polly GARRISON, dau. of Henry and Ann (Mack) GARRISON. Their bondsmen were Jacob MORTEN and Edward
King. Peter appears to have made the move from DE to NC with the GARRISON family, who were neighbors in Wilmington and congregants at Old Swedes' Church. Are there records of any other families making this same migration to Orange Co. NC? I'm trying to trace a COSTEN family in NC that may connect with the CASTAN family in DE.
