Hello. Are you by any chance familiar with a Jicie E. Stanaford (1897 - 1969) who married Jess D. Adkins(1894 - 1944)? They are buried in the Reed Family Cemetery in Whitley Co., KY. I am really trying to track my grandmother's Adkins line. Her name was Nellie Adkins Reed. Her parents were William M. and Lucretia Adkins. I cannot determine who William's parents were so I am playing connect the dots. Since Jess and Jicie Stanaford Adkins are buried in the Reed family Cemetery, I assume there must be a close connection of some sort to my grandmother. I THINK Jess and Nellie were first cousins but haven't been able to prove it. I know it's a long shot, but can you perhaps offer any insights that might help me??
