Please see other message, no I will copy it here:
Been told for years spelling was Nye, only to find other had my 1st cousin married to Ney. Told me her parents had moved to CO, My Aunt died, maiden name Woolley and or Wooley, married a Stauffer. Believe they were boh in Ohio when married, but not sure. I have pictures of family members to compare. Mom said her sister died young but I know there were 2 children of their marriage, learned husband remarried and had more children.

Is this sounding familiar to anyone? born after 1900, don;t know DOD for Aunt, but she was born early 1900's. Daughter born circa 1920? She married Ney Nye

My cousin's name according to photo I have was Etta Jane Stauffer, Nye. Believe her grandfather on her Dad's STauffer side was Dilbert? or that may have been some other person in family. Name in family also others as her father remarried.
Let me know s there were other children, and you mention other given family names, maybe we could find a connection along the way
