Since my first posting for this family in 2001, I have found that Alonzo is indeed my GrGr grandfather. He was born Aug.1847 in MO, to James and Rebecca. Alonzo married his first wife Margaret Bishop in April 1867 and they had two daughters Mattie and Dora. After Margaret's death he married Abbie McNiel, together they had four children between 1874-1879. Alonzo died in Nov 1879 from Typhoid fever, either in Stafford, KS where they lived, or Jackson Co, MO where they were going to pcik up Alonzo's first two daughters, but no burial has ever been found.
Alonzo's father James was b.1821 in KY, his mother Rebecca Chrisman was b.1825 VA. James' father David was born Oct. 1785 in NJ, his mother Elizabeth Larrison was b.c.1787. David's father is possibly Ezekial, b.c.1741 NJ.
