Thanks but I don't think this ties into my family. My John Stewart was born abt 1735 and was in Laurens SC by 1800. His son Francis Stewart was born abt 1755-65 and he also had 2 known daughters, Nancy who married David Studdard/Stoddard and Nellie/Ellender who married Gideon Thomason. I am looking for John's family, brothers and sisters. He is not related to the Walter Stewart Clan in Laurens, they think he came from Newberry SC. He must have come from PA through VA and I know that they travelled in family groups but I have not been able to connect him with any other family yet.
