I am descended from the marriage of Elizabeth Stradling of Culmstock, born about 1824 and Charles Brassington of Betley. Staffordshire, born about 1828. They were married in Halifax 1850. Information passed down through the family suggests, we are direct descendents of the Stradlings of St. Donat's in South Wales.
