I am descended from an Anton Strasser who was married to Francisca Emslander. Anton was born in 1850 in Landshut. Although your Strassers emigrated in 1846 I was struck by the similarity in names. Anton's father was also named Anton and I wonder if there is a connection there? I do not have much more information than that, and if you could share what you have, maybe we could determine a connection.

Anton Strasser Sr. m. unknown
Anton Strasser Jr. (born 1850 in Landshut) m. Francisca Emslander
John Strasser Sr. (born 1877 in Landshut) m. Martha Koch
came to US around 1905
John Strasser Jr. was my grandfather
