I just found out I'm a SUITER with my father having been DUWAINE D. SUITER of Washinton state. He is buried in Stevens County in Kettle Falls in Washington state. His mother was Fae (Fay) G HILL SUITER. She was married to STANLEY SUITER & they lived in Stevens County in Washington State. Later they must have separated or divorced because in 1930 US Census she was without him. Their children were DUWAINE D., DARRELL H., & DOROTHY SUITER. Duwaine SUITER was born 22 Apr 1914 & died 23 May 1982. Both Duwaine & Darrell are deceased now. Not knowing Dorothy's married name I have no idea if she is still living. I know Darrell SUITER is buried in Spokane Co, Spokane, Washington. My birth mother & Duwaine Suiter were not married. I was born September 1948. He was a divorced single man raising his 3 small children at the time living in Spokane Co, Spokane, WA. My mother's name was ALICE (Rosenau) HARNESS, & was living & taking care of his children all under the age of about 7 yrs old. She was forced to give me up for adoption at that time. I found my maternal birth side in 1998 & was told all about the situation. I also know with a little digging that STANLEY SUITER'S father & mother were MARION FRANCIS SUITER & LYDIA ANN FORD. Stanley, SUITER was born in Whitman Co, Oaksdale, Washington ~ 9 September 1889 & passed away in Spokane Co, Spokane, Washington 14 July 1969. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested in learning the "nationality" ancestory of the family. Please contact me "asap" ~ thank you very much!!!! Oh I do know that my maternal side came from Nebraska & paternal side (Suiter) from Ohio! Thanks again, Linda Sherman
