I saw your message and am also searching for a TABER from Maine...or at least I think he was from Maine. His wife was a Mary Jane FRAZIER b. 1859 in Danville, Androscoggin Co., ME whose name was later found on her sister Elizabeth's documentation as Mrs. Mary Jane TABER of Bath, Maine.
I searched the Maine Marriage records for Mary Jane FRAZIER to Mr. TABER but so far have not found anything.
So I was wondering if perhaps in your research you had run across my family branch?
Thank you for anything, and if I should happen upon any further TABER's (prob. spelling many different ways), I'll come back here and post the info for you.
Good Luck to you in your research.
