Have 2 Tabler sisters with Tabler/Scott marriages and with ties to Marion Co., KY where their widowed mother was residing in the 1840 Marion Co.,KY Census.

Catherine Tabler b ca1818 d ? marr. 2/1/1833 Louisville, Jeff. Co., KY to Thomas M. Scott. Ch: Frances Scott b ca 1834 Ky; George W. Scott ca1835 KY; Mary E. Scott ca1838 KY; Edward Scott ca1841 KY; Jasper N. Scott ca1843 KY.
Catherine was in Clark Co., IN by 1850 C, along with her mother and several brothers, but Thomas Scott was not listed in the 1850 Clark Co., IN census with her and the children. She and some of her brothers with their families had moved on to IL by 1855 State Census where Catherine was listed as a widow.

Mary Ann Tabler 7/15/1818 IN-11/15/1885 KY marr. 2/23/1833 Louisville, Jeff. Co., KY to George W. (Washington) Scott 7/10/1805-2/15/1880. Ch: Thomas Scott ca1835 KY-; Joseph Scott ca1840 KY-; William Scott ca1844 KY-; Lucinda Scott ca1847 KY-; John E. Scott ca1849 KY- Susan M. Scott 11/13/1853 KY-; Elizabeth Scott ca1856 KY. Mary Ann & Geo. W. remained in Marion Co., KY.

Catherine & Mary Ann were daughters of Jacob & Nancy Ann (McMakin) Tabler. (This was my husband's line.)

Does any of this appear to be the line you are researching?
