Will someone join me in the effort to find our Taube tree?
My maternal Ggrandfathers sister Amalie Sack born around 1860-70 married a Taube.They lived in Kursk and parttime in St.Petersburg .They had 3 sons and a daughter.All of the children were academics. One son was a chemist and one a doctor. Taube was a Bankier and very wealthy landowner, besides respected citisen in Kursk inspite of its antisemitism. The family story is, that he was a baron, the titel given to him by the Czar for his economical advices.
