This is to update my previous message. Have new information on Henry Templin. His mother, Maria Louisa Ihlenfeld, was first married to a man named Steppenhagen in Germany. Her second husband was John Templin, also in Germany. He apparently died there because she is a widow when she reaches America. Once in Thornton, IL she marries a man named John Schultz. They owned a tavern there which was passed down to my great-grandfather, Henry Templin. Looking for information on Maria Louisa Ihlenfeld Steppenhagen Templin from Prussia, and John Templin from Mecklenburg. He would have died in the late 1850s. Thanks.
