i purchased a Thorndike Bible from someone in Maine. it only has a few inscriptions, but here they are:
Lane Thorndike was married to Ada Le Hix June 16, 1867.
Charles Lane Thorndike born jan 12, 1871.
Carrie H. Thorndike born dec 2nd, 1879.
not a lot, but hopefully will provide a link, or further source material for someone.
the Bible was printed by the American Bible Society, New York, 1866.
