have today been rummaging around the internet and came across the Genealogy.com message board and located correspondence dated February 5th 2003, some time ago.
Re message concerning the birth of Edward Tidbury b 17/2/1871 (son of James Tidbury b 1843) and married to Alice Ellen Parker my Gt. Grand Parents. their son Edward James Tidbury b 7/9/1898 m Elsie Ellen Barlow b 22/3/1897 were my grand parents and their son John Victor Tidbury b 9/8/1929 m Beryl King are my parents.
I wondered if there was any information that we could exchange?
I have recently come across the Hungerford murders of 1876 where four poachers which included Henry, Francis and William Tidbury (brothers) who were hanged for the murder of two policemen. A memorial was unveiled on 9th January 2004.
