Hi Paul, I just read your posting on the genforum. My gggrandmother was Lucinda Tingle and married William Holloway in Georgia. Lucinda was born 1802 and died in 1891. Her parents were John Tingle, b. 1774, d. 1832. He married Sarah Purifoy. His father was Solomon Tingle, b. 1730 and died 1795 and his mother was Mary ?. I have seen on the LDS site that Lucinda Tingle's ancestors go back to 1529 in Warwick, England. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of this English info, but thought this might interest you.
