My father was born out of wedlock in 1942 in Anderson county. He died in 1982 in Detroit MI. All that I remember him telling me about his biological father was that his last name was Justice or possibly Lowell. This man had been hit by a train and lost a leg somewhere between the years 1942 and 1968. I have a vague recollection of meeting him, he drove a cab, and my dad lifted me up and said this is your grandaughter. Does anyone have a thread for me to pull? It would be so appreciated!
