The 1830 Census shows Jacob and William ROBERTS listed near their VANDERGRIFF uncles and cousins. Their father William should be there somewhere. This family was in Grainger Co. until about 1809, Knox Co. for a year, then Anderson Co. until they moved to Hamilton Co. in 1831.
Jacob ROBERTS' wife is Elizabeth GROVES married by 1812. William A. ROBERTS married Jane BUNCH apparently just before the 1830 census. Jacob's oldest daughter Lucy probably married Jane's brother David BUNCH. Next oldest daughter Nancy Caswell had a son Toliver ROBERTS born in 1833 that has no known father.
John ROBERTS listed nearby may be related. Ninion/Niyon ROBERTS can be found living near family in Hamilton Co. possibly by 1840, 1850 for sure.
Any clues as to John ROBERTS, Ninyon ROBERTS, parents of Jane and David BUNCH would be appreciated.
