We have the following for a William Cottingham who may have resided in Benton Co. TN. :
. NANCY CELIA5 ROGERS (WILLIAM L.4, JAMES3, JAMES2, UNKNOWN1 ROGERS/RODGERS) was born 1809 in North Carolina, and died Unknown. She married WILLIAM COTTINGHAM. He died Unknown.

NANCY CELIA ROGERS b. 1809 NC lived in Carroll Co. TN with her parents it is believed, who were WILLIAM L. ROGERS and wife NANCY UNKNOWN. These Rogers arrived in Carroll Co. TN about 1823 from MONTGOMERY CO. NC. Nancy Celia Rogers had many Rogers siblings who stayed in Carroll Co. TN, and the only listing we have for her is that she married a WILLIAM COTTINGHAM. Perhaps the Cottinhams of Benton Co. TN were related to him or someone knows more about this couple. If so, please post. Will be glad to share our Rogers data pertaining to Nancy Celia Rogers.
