Don't know if this will be important to you, however, if you go to Benton County Marriages-1851-1900 by Kellin you will find James M. Swindle married Hannah Thomason in 1863. I know that the Thomasons and Howes are related. Good Luck on your search. I have Howes and Thomasons in my genealogy.
