John Anderson’s will is on file in Benton County and is dated 13 March 1859. It reads: “In the name of God Amen I John Anderson make this my last will and testament. It is my will for my wife Elizabeth Anderson to have all of my real Estate and personality her life time and then at her death it is my will for all of the estate to be equally divided between Catherine Swindle Mariam Swindle G.C. Anderson, Isaac Anderson, J.C. Anderson Elizabeth Swindle & Enoch Anderson’s part to be Equally divided between John R. Anderson Cainilee Anderson heirs of Enoch Anderson and Seney Anderson, my daughter to have fifty dollars more than any of the above named children also my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid out of my Estate and Isaac Anderson executor of this will This 13 day of March AD 1859.” Signed John Anderson and witnessed by W.W. Davidson and M. Edwards. This will is on page 376 of the Benton County, Tennessee Will Book. Does anyone know which Swindle his daughter Elizabeth married. Was she the Elisabeth Swinlde wife of Seth Swinlde of Mississippi (1860)? I know Miriam married Thomas Swindle and Catherine Married his borther William E. Swindle. Seth and Nathan were their other two brothers. Nathan did have children (1840s) so maybe she married him?
