Mary Collier Capps married (1) Thadius Barnes and (2) William Jackson Fry. In doing censuses, we notice that sometimes William Jackson Fry seems to be going by Robert Fry. Does anyone know why he did this? His tombstone actually gives his name as William Jackson "Bob" Fry.
In tracing the censuses, the children in one marriage seem to be showing in the next census with a different mother.
William Jackson Fry married a Nora in 1889 in Tenn.
Robert Fry married Mary Stewart in Missouri in 1910.
Bob Fry married a Mary Anderson in 1928 in Tenn.
W. J. Fry married a Mary Collier "Collie" Barnes in 1917 in Tenn. There's another marriage of Collie Fry and W. J. Foy (Should be Fry) in 1923 in Benton Co., Tenn. Were they divorced earlier and remarried?
Bob Fry married a Mary Anderson in 1928 in Tenn.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
