Hi Melissa,

This is a wonderful thing you are doing. I don't have the resorces available like you seem to.

Would you look and see what you can find on a Levi Carter born around 1795 in unknown? He was living in Bledsoe Co., TN in the devision allotted to Elyah in 1830 AND in the same county in the 1840 Census in the devision alotted to James A. Tullop.

In both census records this Levi Carter was living practicly next door to Sarah & Hannah & John Shumak, Edny Oxendine, Betsy Lowry, and the John Maxfield families who are all possible ancestors of mine. I have all those surnames in my tree. The Carter line is my father's side.

I'm trying to match him up with my GG Grandmother Lydia/Lida/Lidu Andrews. They had 2 kids, James T C Carter born in 1846 and a daughter Elvira Ruth Carter born in 1844. Both were stated to be born on Indian Territory and yes this may be a Native American family?

Even if this Levi Carter had another wife at the time, I would still like the information because Lydia could well be a second wife or ???

It would be nice to find a Will, Birth & Death Records, Tax Records, anything from any name or surname that would help make the link?

If you require and help with printing fees or ANYTHING related to this search, I am MORE THAN HAPPY to compensate you!
