Noticed the name Doswell in this note. I'm trying to see if my great-grandfather, Jefferson C. Rogers, who was in Bledsoe Co., TN, in 1850, is descended from the Doswell Rogers line. He was born somewhere in TN in 1820, married Nancy Adaline Carder and had three sons -- James and twins Ephraim Hicks and David F. -- in 1850. He lived in TN until his death in 1906 in Wilson Co. Would you know whether he was connected in the Doswell Rogers line, or who his ancestors are?
Thanks,
Jay Rogers in San Antonio TX
