Alice, It's been awhile since we talked. I am curious about the Roden family you are researching. I am from the Rodens in Monroe county Tn.. Caroline, my direct line, was the Daughter of Sarah Roden that was never married to Littleton Pannell. Their children didn't know which name to go by. Most went with Roden. In Whitley county Kentucky you will find many of this line of Rodens. Sarah Roden married an Arp in Vonore, I think Benjamin not sure. She had a few children with Arp.
