trying to unravel the Farr Family in Blount County, Tennessee. I find several marriages for John Farr.

I don't know if this is the same John or not. Note the first says John W. Farr.
I've traced them with the census and have these notes:

Tn, Eliza A. 11/f Blount C., Caroline 9/f Blount C., David 8/m Cherokee C. NC, Mary E. 7/f Cherokee C., Margaret E. 5/f Cherokee C., Tennefree N. 2/f Cherokee C.
-On the 26 July 1870 census for Cheoah, Cherokee C. North Carolina pg 22 line 8, 146/146 Farr John w/m/46 farmer 300/200 Tn, Sarah wife w/f/45 Tn, Lucinda w/f/23 Tn, Mincey w/f/20 Tn, David w/m/18 NC, Mary A. w/f/16 NC, Hariet w/f/14 NC, Tennessee w/f/12 Tn, William w/m/9 NC, Sarah w/f/7 NC, John w/m/4 NC, Thomas w/m/1 NC,
-Note this is the only time I have ever seen them list the county and state born in.
-On the 18 June 1880 census for Cheoah, Graham C. North Carolina Enumeration 82 pg18 line 1, 131/131 Farr John w/m/56 farmer Tn/NC/Tn, Sarah E. wife w/f/56 wife Tn/SC/SC, Elvira w/f/22 daughter NC/Tn/Tn, William w/m/18 son NC, Sarah F. daughter w/f/16 NC, John w/m/13 NC, Robert w/m/10 NC, Note there may be more than one wife and Thomas and Robert may be the same person?
